This lidar can easily detect objects in the surrounding environment and calculate the distance and speed of objects with extremely high accuracy. I used it to build an autonomous driving car, and the effect was amazing. This module is very easy to use, just connect to a development board such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi, and write some simple code to get started.
This lidar is simply fantastic! The detection range is impressive and the sensor is very accurate in detecting objects. The software provided is also very good, with clear and concise documentation, making it easy to use.
However, the price is a bit expensive. If we can reduce the price to less than $100, I think it will attract more people to buy.
Although there was some delay time in DHL's logistics, fortunately it arrived three days before Christmas.
I made a Christmas lidar detector and installed it on our 6-wheel car. It worked very well, and my son applauding it.

Can we export .pcd or not ? And also what other file formats can the EAI 4ROS lidar provide ?
Hello,
1. We're sorry, we haven't tried exporting .pcd files. You'll need to write your own code to export. We don't have tutorials, and we don't provide technical support for it.
2. What other file formats does the EAI 4ROS lidar support: ROS's native .pgm and .yaml formats are used for saving raster maps.

Also, could you please tell me how we can export .pcd file ? I require the Point cloud to be exported from the device to my windows computer. I did not see the export course in your LEARN platform.
