Working well

The delivery was fast and the packaging was good. I took an engineering course and it helped me a lot in my studies. Now I have added something to our project.
However, some of the code is outdated for the current ROS, but this is not the biggest problem. It would be perfect if it could use ROS2.

The wheels and motors have been assembled. According to the steps in the manual, I quickly completed the assembly of this robot car.

The package arrived today and the packaging is well protected. The components are complete and the quality looks good. Although the assembly process is a bit complicated, it can be completed smoothly according to the instructions and video tutorials.
The overall flexibility and stability of the car are decent, but there were some minor issues encountered during programming that took half a day to resolve with the help of technical support. If the budget is sufficient, i think you can purchase it.

  • Do you sell spare batteries? One battery is not enough for full day classroom use.

    Since batteries are flammable and explosive, and the battery power used by X3PLUS exceeds 100W, express delivery companies do not accept pure battery packages. If you need to buy batteries, you need to buy them together with the robot kit before we can send your package.

  • Hi, If I order the Rosmaster X3 PLUS without the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB (I will be using my own). How would I flash my Orin Nano with your pre-defined settings?

    1. You need to use the SDKmanager tool to write the jetpack5.1.1 operating system to the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB board.

    2. And write the X3PLUS car exclusive image system file we provides into your SSD.


  • I bought a ROSMASTER X3 PLUS. All assembly was completed following the instruction. And I installed MakerControl App to my Iphone. However, the app cannot connect the robot. I put the same IP with robot but nothing happened.

    At present, there is no official solution provided for the ROS2 related documents of the robotic arm, so all robotic arm products do not support ORS2 so far.

  • I am trying to switch the Jetson with the Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB). I download the system file and flash the .img but the screen goes black after boot up. Is there a step I could be missing? ( I repurposed the jetson for another robot and wanted to get this one to work again with a Pi.)

We are interested in buying a mobile base and a robotic arm for research, so I would like to ask a couple of questions 1) How soon could we expect the product to arrive in Greece? 2) Is there any support for Gazebo?
