Description
The Jetson Orin NX SUPER developer kit consists of NVIDIA's Jetson Orin NX core module and Yahboom Jetson Orin NX carrier board. RAM has 8G/16GB for choice. The computing power can reach 117 TOPS and 157 TOPS respectively. Yahboom will provide 256GB M.2 SSD that has been written into the system, as well as installed WiFi network card, power supply and other accessories. Users can enjoy Orin NX quickly without complex environment setup steps.

I ordered the Jetson Orin NX developer with the Minikit including the cube nano case. The experience has been really good. The quality of the cube nano case is really good. For the installation and assembly of the kit, I followed the video on the Yahboom website. easy to follow and get it up and running.

Ich habe Anfang Mai 2025 das NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16 GB Development Kit bei Yahboom bestellt – und ich bin begeistert! Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zur Inbetriebnahme fühlte ich mich bestens betreut. Die Kommunikation verlief komplett auf Deutsch, alle Fragen wurden freundlich und geduldig beantwortet. Die Lieferung war schnell, das Paket wurde sicher verpackt und kam ohne jegliche Verzögerung bei mir an.
Der Nvidia Jetson Orin NX selbst übertrifft meine Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht:
Unglaubliche Leistung: Die Rechenpower ist beeindruckend, sei es für Deep-Learning-Modelle oder Robotik-Projekte. Selbst komplexe Anwendungen laufen flüssig, ohne dass die Performence des Boards einbricht.
Einfache Inbetriebnahme: Durch die vorinstallierte Software auf der mitgelieferten M.2-SSD war das System in wenigen Minuten betriebsbereit. Die ausführlichen Anleitungen von Yahboom haben mir sofort geholfen, die ersten Tests erfolgreich durchzuführen.

I purchased a SUPER, but what I received was not a SUPER.

Thanks for your ordering from Yahboom.
The board you received is the SUPER version, but the packaging box is an old version.
Due to our previous printing of a large number of packaging boxes, we do not want to waste them, so we will continue to use the old version of packaging boxes for shipping.
You can directly enter the system, and there will be a MAXN logo in the upper right corner.
Alternatively, enter the jtop command to enter the system and view JetPack 6.2 version.

I bought an NX16 kit from you, and it stopped working after one and a half months. It gets stuck at the beginning of the NVIDIA screen. I tried too many things to make it work again, but none of them worked. Did any other customer face the same issue with this kit? Is there a way to return or exchange it after one and a half months?

How can I use it remotely for robotics. I want to use a battery/UPS. With 19v and 40w. Please provide the information regarding this.

1. How can I use it remotely for robotics?
Connect a monitor to the same LAN as your computer, and then remotely control the robot via VNC.
2. We don't recommend a battery-powered solution.
Alternatively, you could consider using a ROS driver board powered by a 12V battery.

How long will this device be supported in terms of (operating system, etc) security updates? I'm asking since the Ubuntu version it's based on has past it's end-of-life. If it won't receive security updates, is it o.k. for me to install a newer ubuntu? What else would I have to install if I install the operating system from scratch?
Hello, sorry that it is currently a relatively new system officially supported by NVIDIA, the highest version is Ubuntu 22.04, and no higher versions can be used to install a newer one.

I cannot find the stated input voltage range, the only information I could find is that 19V is the optimal power supply voltage. Will a 12V supply work?
