Yahboom IMU 10-Axis Inertial Navigation ARHS Sensor Module
This is a high-precision inertial measurement module that integrates 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer and a barometer. The baud rate is 921600, the return rate can reach 200Hz. Built-in algorithm can stably acquire and output data such as magnetic field vector, acceleration, gyroscope, and quaternion. It supports USB/UART/I2C communication methods, which can be applied to many different occasions. We provide PC software, which allows users to adjust the parameters of the module in real time, and reflect the real attitude of the inertial navigation module in real time through the 3D model.

I had high hopes for the CMP10A as the main IMU for my ROS project, but unfortunately it turned out a resounding dud. Although it was simple enough to set up, the bandwidth is just too low. Readings are returned at a frequency of 10 Hz, but by default there are four different types (angular speed, linear acceleration, orientation and magnetic field), so the frequency for the full readings vector is actually 10 / 4 = 2.5 Hz. I was looking for a frequency of at least 50 Hz, which in theory the CMP10A supports, but when I tried to set it so in the Windows application the whole machine froze, and since then I haven't been able to connect to the device on Windows. Connection on Linux still works, in the sense that I can get readings, but commands sent through the serial connection seem to be ignored — I tried to change the types of readings returned, but although I followed the sequence of commands described in the documentation (KEY, RSW, SAVE) to the letter, nothing changes. What a complete disappointment.

The 9-axis sensor is already integrated on the expansion board of the ROSMASTER X3 car, you do not need to add this module.

How can i change the output rate of the imu? seems to be stuck at 10hz. do different baud correspond to different output rate?
