Yahboom 12DOF Robot Dog DOGZILLA S1/S2
DOGZILLA is a visual AI robot dog with 12 degrees of freedom, mainly composed of 6 servos, aluminum alloy brackets, and a camera. It can flexibly complete a series of bionic actions and achieve omni-directional movement and six dimensional attitude control. DOGZILLA is equipped with IMU and servo angle sensors, which can provide real-time feedback on its own posture and joint angles. With inverse kinematics algorithms, achieves various motion gaits. Raspberry Pi as its main controller, with additional configurations such as lidar and voice module. Through Python programming, based on the ROS2 system, many functions such as AI visual recognition, lidar mapping navigation, and voice control can be achieved.
With the New upgrade, DOGZILLA has introduced AI large language model capabilities, giving the robot dog stronger understanding and interactivity. Based on the AI large model, DOGZILLA can not only perform complex semantic speech recognition and natural language dialogue, but also intelligently analyze visual scenes, plan paths, understand task instructions, and support more intelligent and anthropomorphic behavioral decisions. This upgrade has greatly improved the application depth and scalability of robot dogs in education and scientific research, artificial intelligence experiments, service robots and other fields, helping users embark on a new journey of exploration of embodied intelligence.

- S1/S2 is easily completed based on ROS2 and OpenCV, with functions such as label recognition, face detection, target tracking, and visual line patrol.
- S2 comes with a lidar and intelligent voice module, which can achieve functions such as mapping navigation, lidar avoiding and following, and voice control.
- Based on the AI larger model and AI voice recognition module, DOGZILLA can understands commands, and achieve related functions such as voice dialogue, scene perception, embodied intelligence, etc.

This robot dog is small and flexible and its posture and shape are vivid. I am a little afraid of raising a real dog, but a robot dog of the same size is too difficult to buy for my limited funds. The palm-sized robot dog is within my budget and it can recognize objects, track, avoid obstacles and has a detailed tutorial, so it is a good choice!
I have a special friend. It is a fantastic AI pet that can move around and respond to me. Compact and ideal little pet for who can't take care of creatures but loves technology!
Assembly is simple, pre installed demonstration When I encounter wiring issues, customer service is also very prompt.
However, compared to similar kits, the price is a bit high. For robot enthusiasts, this is an interesting and well crafted project, but budget conscious buyers may want to wait for promotions.
It's a better robot than I thought.
I don't regret spending money on it.
It's a shame that there are models with arms here and there, but it would be nice if it had an extension function.
This is my second purchase of a YAHBOOM robot, and I trust it.
With the support of Raspberry Pi, it is highly playable and a great choice for learning programming and robotics knowledge.
The price is a bit high, if it can be reduced a bit it will be a perfect kit.

hi, i'm Ignacio From Chile. i bought a dogzilla and i was using it all normal, but after its battery ran out, after charger it no longer stand up normally, one of their legs is totally contracted, and 2 legs are not responding (the 2 left legs) the front right leg is totally contracted and the right back leg seems normal. i find a calibration file but i no want run it until you can answer me if is safe run the file or looks like other issue i hope that you can help with this pls thx for reading me

Can it be used with a Jetson Nano, instead of a Raspberry pi? Do you offer the codes for Jetson Nano, if it's any different?

This Robot dogs don't support Raspberry Pi. All the codes and tutorials we provide are based on Raspberry Pi, which is incompatible with Jetosn NANO.
Because the size of the Jetson NANO is too large to be installed on the mechanical dog, we chose a smaller rRaspberry Pi. -
Can the robot climb a step? (i.e. can it walk up a staircase)? If so, what is the max height of the step it can climb? (i.e. How tall is the tallest object it can walk on it)
