Yahboom 8-channel infrared grayscale line tracking sensor module is a high-performance intelligent detection module integrating grayscale recognition and infrared line-following functions. It is designed for projects such as smart robot car, car line tracking, path recognition, and edge detection. Built-in eight high-sensitivity infrared photoelectric sensors, which can detect changes in ground reflected light intensity in real time, accurately identifying black and white lines, grayscale differences, and complex path structures, achieving more stable and intelligent autonomous driving.

To improve detection stability with different lighting conditions, the module adopts a custom-designed focusing infrared emitter and an anti-stray light protective cover. This structure effectively reduces interference from external ambient light, maintaining stable recognition performance even in strong light or reflective ground environments, enabling robots to operate smoothly in various scenarios.

It supports digital signal output and is flexibly compatible with various main control systems such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Microbit, STM32, ESP32, and MSPM0, facilitating rapid integration and use by makers, developers, and students on different platforms.

To meet diverse usage scenarios and lighting conditions, the module offers four light source versions: white, red, blue, and green.

Users can select the most suitable version based on the ground background color and track color to achieve optimal recognition accuracy and anti-interference performance.

White light version is suitable for:

① black tracks on white background ; ② white tracks on black background;

Red light version is suitable for:

① green, cyan, blue, or black tracks on white background; ② red, orange, yellow, or white tracks on black background.

Blue light version is suitable for:

① yellow, red, green, or black tracks on white background; ② blue, purple, cyan, or white tracks on black background.

Green light version is suitable for:

① red, blue, purple, or black tracks on white background; ② green, yellow, cyan, or white tracks on black background.
