ROSMASTER X3 PLUS es un robot de movimiento omnidireccional desarrollado con base en el sistema operativo ROS. Admite cuatro controladores: Jetson NANO 4GB/Jetson Orin NX/Orin NANO y Raspberry Pi 5. Equipado con configuraciones de hardware de alto rendimiento como lidar, cámara de profundidad, brazo robótico 6DOF, motor de alta potencia 520, módulo interactivo de reconocimiento de voz y pantalla HD de 7 pulgadas. Puede realizar aplicaciones como mapeo y navegación de aplicaciones, conducción automática, reconocimiento de características humanas, control de simulación de brazo robótico moveIt y control sincrónico de múltiples máquinas. It's okay, but it needs improvement.

The quality of the components included in the kit is relatively good, the circuit board is very textured, and the motor and wheels are working normally.
The document is not clear enough, which is still somewhat difficult for beginners, especially without more detailed circuit diagrams.
Overall, it is suitable for users with a certain foundation, but not very suitable for complete beginners.

Exceeded my expectations!

The hardware quality is excellent, the assembly manual is detailed and clear, and it is also very beginner friendly. I really like the remote control function of the app, it responds quickly. The programming part supports Python, which is very interesting to learn. I am currently researching controller remote control.
The logistics speed is also very fast, the packaging is sturdy, and there is no damage. I am very satisfied with the overall experience.

6 month working with the robot. Really great experience. A lot of demos and code samples that help to explore and deep dive many fields in robotics.
On top of that : a really great support, very fast answers, they do really care whenever you encounter any single issue. Provided you actually want to invest yourself in learning robotics, it's really worth the price.

Working well

The delivery was fast and the packaging was good. I took an engineering course and it helped me a lot in my studies. Now I have added something to our project.
However, some of the code is outdated for the current ROS, but this is not the biggest problem. It would be perfect if it could use ROS2.

    Since batteries are flammable and explosive, and the battery power used by X3PLUS exceeds 100W, express delivery companies do not accept pure battery packages. If you need to buy batteries, you need to buy them together with the robot kit before we can send your package.

    At present, there is no official solution provided for the ROS2 related documents of the robotic arm, so all robotic arm products do not support ORS2 so far.

  • I am trying to switch the Jetson with the Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB). I download the system file and flash the .img but the screen goes black after boot up. Is there a step I could be missing? ( I repurposed the jetson for another robot and wanted to get this one to work again with a Pi.)

We are interested in buying a mobile base and a robotic arm for research, so I would like to ask a couple of questions 1) How soon could we expect the product to arrive in Greece? 2) Is there any support for Gazebo? Do you plan to include any in the future? 3) Would it be possible to have access to the relative files including urdf robot description et al, before the robot is delivered?
