I am satisfied with everything except for the price

I am satisfied with the design and functionality of this bionic robot dog.
It has complete accessories, smooth movements of the robot dog, and can customize various behaviors through programming, making it very suitable for learning robots and programming. The overall workmanship is also exquisite, using high-quality materials.

The only downside is that the price is a bit expensive, which may cause some hesitation for people with limited budgets.

Dogzilla S2 Robot Dog

Das Paket wurde sehr schnell und zuverlässig geliefert. Beim Auspacken waren alle Teile wie beschrieben vorhanden. Die Anleitung bzw. Videos zur Montage sind leicht verständlich und sehr gut. Das Gerät lies sich entsprechend gut montieren. Leider war das Gerät im Bereich der Vormontage durch Yahboom bereits defekt geliefert worden. Eine Inbetriebnahme war nicht möglich. Der eingeschaltene Support war jedoch sehr bemüht den Fehler zu finden um das Gerät doch noch zum laufen zu bekommen. Leider war der Fertigungsfehler bei meinem Gerät unreparabel. Das Gerät wurde wieder verpackt und wird demnächst vom Lieferdienst abgeholt und wieder zu Yahboom zurückgeschickt um es dort im Werk zu reparieren. Die Qualität der Einzeilteile würde ich als sehr gut bezeichnen. Alles passte und fühlte sich sehr wertig an. Das mein Gerät hier defekt war kann ein Produktionsfehler gewesen sein. Von mir bekommt die Fa. Yahboom 5 Sterne für die Qualität und den erstklassigen Service. Es wurde ein weiteres Gerät von mir bestellt das demnächst eintrifft. Ich gehe davon aus das die Reparatur bei Yahboom erfolgreich sein wird und der Robo Dog dann sehr gut funktionieren wird.

Superb Quality Hardware

I have recently assembled several different mobile robot kits, and DOGZILLA is undoubtedly the highest quality.

The components of the product have excellent quality and clear assembly instructions. The only small regret is that configuring the software for the first time was a bit complicated, but fortunately the technical support was able to solve the problem in a timely manner and ultimately helped me set everything up.
It is a good project for someone with some programming experience.

    Hi friend, S1 cannot be directly upgraded to S2 because their hardware circuits are different.

  • hi, i'm Ignacio From Chile. i bought a dogzilla and i was using it all normal, but after its battery ran out, after charger it no longer stand up normally, one of their legs is totally contracted, and 2 legs are not responding (the 2 left legs) the front right leg is totally contracted and the right back leg seems normal. i find a calibration file but i no want run it until you can answer me if is safe run the file or looks like other issue i hope that you can help with this pls thx for reading me

  • Can it be used with a Jetson Nano, instead of a Raspberry pi? Do you offer the codes for Jetson Nano, if it's any different?

    This Robot dogs don't support Raspberry Pi. All the codes and tutorials we provide are based on Raspberry Pi, which is incompatible with Jetosn NANO.
    Because the size of the Jetson NANO is too large to be installed on the mechanical dog, we chose a smaller rRaspberry Pi.

  • Can the robot climb a step? (i.e. can it walk up a staircase)? If so, what is the max height of the step it can climb? (i.e. How tall is the tallest object it can walk on it)

    Yes. You can use Raspberry Pi 3. But  some complex algorithms and video transmission may get stuck. Because the calculation capacity of 3B board is lower than that of 4B board.
