Muto RS is a desktop-level AI Large Model bionic hexapod robot developed and designed based on the ROS2 operating system and compatible with Raspberry Pi. The overall body is made of aluminum alloy and contains 18PCS 35KG serial bus servos, depth cameras, lidar, voice modules. Through Python3 programming and built-in high-precision algorithms, Muto RS can easily implement AI visual interaction, 3D mapping navigation, voice interaction, deep learning, Rviz simulation. Based on multi-machine communication technology, we can also allow Muto to complete multi-machine synchronization control and multi-machine navigation. Users can control it by APP, wireless handle, and computer web pages. Muto is not only suitable for learning algorithms for multi-legged bionic robot movement, but is also a good platform for ROS developers.

The all-aluminum alloy chassis combined with 18 x 35kg serial bus servos delivers exceptional rigidity and torque. Unlike plastic-based competitors, this feels built for repeated experimentation. The inverse kinematics implementation is surprisingly smooth—walking gaits are stable, and the hexapod handles terrain variations without constant tuning.
The sensor suite is comprehensive: depth camera + LiDAR + voice module. Out of the box, 3D SLAM mapping, navigation, and visual recognition work reliably. The voice interaction and multi-machine synchronization are bonuses rarely seen at this price point.
Integration with Raspberry Pi 5 running ROS2 is seamless. Rviz simulation support allows algorithm validation before deploying to real hardware. The multiple control options (APP, gamepad, web) make debugging convenient.

A giant spider, but not too scary, hhhh

The Hexapod Robot is easy to set up—just install the battery, Lidar depth camera and other components and you can quickly get started with its default functions. It's really great.

The quality of the robot is very good, you get what you pay for, it is my ideal bionic robot. The spider shape is vivid, SLAM lidar with astra depth camera, making the AI interaction function amazing! Mapping, navigation, tracking, etc. are all very stable

I thought the assembly was very difficult, but when I received the package, I found out that the entire hexapod structure had already been assembled.
In order to save some time, I quickly activated it. One of the legs was unable to move, but with the help of technical support, this issue was resolved.

The robot comes pre-programmed. So once it's assembled, you can start using it like a toy. App control is seamless. All the default functions work well.
I haven't figured out how to custom program it, for example, to do various other computer vision tasks.
