This is an IO expansion board designed for micro:bit, which supports IIC communication. My dvr has broken, so I decided to recicle some pieces, one of them a12vdc vent. I would like to connect it to the basic bit board and write some code in phyton with the mu editor to read temp and send pwm value to move the vent. Can I connect it directly to the basic bit board pins (althouth i can not give more than 5 or 3 v to the vent). Second If I have a 12v batery like the ones it can hold the superbit board in order to reach the maximum rpm of the motor's vent, what circuit or plate I should place in between to ensure proper current to the vent but at the same time protect basic and microbit boards. Also please confirm if this also aplies to the red dc motors available from Yahboom.
